Hey there, and welcome to AlfaMods. This name is not to be associated with other branding or names using AlfaMods—as there are some. AlfaMods is just a name attached to game mods for a video game called Farming Simulator.

This website contains mods for the Farming Simulator and some resources for making them. A game mod is mainly just a pack of data files that can be used with a video game that supports mods. One of the most popular game mod websites out there is Nexus Mods – if you want to explore mods for other games as well.

Some info about me

My name is Erik Nikolai Halsteinrud, and I’m from Norway. I started gaming when I was about 17 years old. Like many back in the 1980s – 1990s, I got into gaming through friends who had access to consoles such as Nintendo consoles. The first video game I played was on a used Commodore 64 that my dad bought, connected to a TV screen. Later on, I got my own Nintendo Gameboy, playing the most popular game one could play on that thing. I guess you know which one…
From then on, I had my first PC before joining the military. Later, I started building my PCs and got very nerdy (slang) to the degree that I returned to consoles again and got my first PlayStation. That was many years ago.
By then, I had gotten into a simulator game called Virtual Sailor, where I made a few game add-ons using Gmax as my first 3D application. Later, I moved over to Discreet’s 3D Studio Max, and I think the first version I obtained was 3D Studio Max 5.

Around 2020, I started exploring Blender but struggled to understand the program. Around that time, I began experimenting with stuff I could do with GIANTS Editor, which is not 3D modelling software. However, I had significant problems exporting and importing content into the editor for some reason, and I simply got stuck and lost the motivation to continue.

Later, I began generating images using artificial intelligence, such as so-called text-to-image generators such as Leonardo.ai. Some of the content made by those tools was published at Pixabay https://pixabay.com/users/alfaunicorn81-41668883/

By the end of 2024, I started to explore Blender realistically. And that’s where I am today in 2025.
